Prof. Erwin is an amazing professor and is more than generous when it comes to grading. The course grades consisted of a midterm, case final, participation, and about 9 group cases throughout the semester that are designed for you to apply all the material you've learned. I highly recommend taking this class with Prof. Erwin if you get the chance, you learn a ton without the stress that other professors supposedly add.

Good class and professor Erwin does a great job teaching it. It is mostly foreign students studying at UVa for a semester or people who studied abroad in the Spring so you get to meet an interesting set of people. You work a lot in groups to complete finance cases and discuss them in class. Overall, you're mostly graded on the midterm, final, and class participation. She also brings in a really interesting speaker from an investment bank to talk about IPOs which I though was really interesting.
