Excellent lecturer. This material is not not only useful for any student who wants study law but is also just great practical knowledge. Work load is minimal and tests are not that bad. Go to the review sessions. The answers are literally spoon fed to you.

Amazing class. Top 3 professor I've had at UVA, and he really cares about you learning the material. Don't tick him off by having him catch you multitasking in class though!

Ok it's a good class but it's not as easy as everyone makes it to be. You need to actually study for the tests since they are the major basis of you're grade. Learn how to make good cheat sheets and you won't get an A without extra credit- so do it!

All material is learned by attending lecture. Wheeler tries to make class interesting and succeeds. Helps you fit a lens to an (unfortunately) important aspect of our society. Sign up quick (especially non-comms).

Wheeler is a great lecturer and keeps the material interesting by using a huge number of specific court cases to show his points. attendance is crucial but no outside reading is required and the midterms and finals are essentially open note.

Great class. Great professor. Not much work. Study well for both exams because they are not difficult. Take good notes in class and do the 1st practice test and you should be good to go.

Easy easy class. All you have to do it attend lecture and you'll be fine. ZERO outside work. If you are awake during class you'll get at least an A-. If you actually study for the exams then you'll surely get an A.

Wheeler is NOT the best prof at UVA. He could save everyone a lot of time and energy if he would just make a fucking powerpoint of the lectures he gives. Instead you have to spend all class writing and listening to him jabber on while your fellow students laugh at things he says which aren't actually funny. His tests aren't hard and yeah the class isn't a lot of work, but its also a serious waste of your time and I found myself skipping quite frequently toward the end. I took it because its required.

Professor Wheeler is very knowledgeable about the subject, and while he can be very opinionated about certain ideas he provides a thorough explanation of the subject. As long as you attend class you should do well on the two problem sets and the two exams.
