I signed up for this class after reading the good reviews on this site, and I have no idea what class they took, but it could not have been the same one I took. The class was very boring, and I learned maybe 3 useful pieces of information the whole semester. That might have even been okay with me since the class was at least really easy, if it hadn't been for the horrible professor. Bonding is very rude and sarcastic. She would cold call students to answer questions, and then mock their answers. She also spent at least part of every class ranting about her political views, which weren't even coherent. I do not recommend this class at all, unless you really need an easy A and are willing to put up with a lot to get it.

Great class but not so great professor. Professor Bonding is not professional at all. She calls out people in class, is very critical of you in the oddest ways, sends out nasty emails to you, and oversteps her boundaries quite often. Picks favorites by far so make sure you don't get on her bad side otherwise she will find some way to get you. On another note, I did enjoy the class though and learned very useful things that I will take with me throughout my career. I just wish that somebody else taught it. Do recommend it just be prepared for some rough patches.

Though Bonding seems warm and fuzzy at first, she can actually be shockingly rude and sarcastic. A teacher who does things like mocks a student (wasn't me) for a mistake in front of the whole class or writes snappy and entirely unhelpful responses to emailed questions (was me) does not deserve a position at an institution like this one. That said, the material she covers is interesting and useful, and despite the regrettable instructor I'd still highly recommend the class.

Very dull class...not worth getting up at 8am by any means. Simple material, if you known anything about bank accounts, etc you are overqualified. If you know what a stock is you are way overqualified.

Everyone should take this class if they can. The class is taught not for tests and homeworks, but for practical applications of personal finance in our real life, both currently and in the future.
