The class is awesome. You learn a lot of quality information about yourself and how to be a better leader. However, the tests in this class SUCK. They are not reflective of your actual knowledge of the subject. 50% of the test is fill in the blank with one or more words ( no wordbank). Tests are straight regurgitation. He'll ask you what was that one specific word in that he said in some random quote from a lecture. There are only 2 tests and they count for 80% of your grade. Overall great class and interesting lectures, but make sure you copy and memorize everything that comes out of his mouth ( including his favorite past time activities and the concerts he went to)

Bateman is the best. And if you like it, consider taking the Leadership minor.
One the best classes that I've taken. You will enjoy going to class and you won't skip any, because it's too much fun. You learn stuff about leadership that will be useful. Detailed but fair exams.
Great professor and class.
Awesome class. Makes you think about things you wouldn't otherwise think about. Definitely worth taking. Apply for the minor!
This class was really enjoyable. Professor Bateman teaches the concepts quite well and knows how to choose examples that few will forget. Guest speakers are hand picked and make the class even greater. Expect lots of QA and opportunities to interact. Highly recommend.
Bateman's the man
Bateman is the man. Such a great class to go to and you really learn. Guest lecturers are good too. Not sure how the grading scale works though. Still, great class.
Professor Bateman is awesome. Take this class
Professor Bateman truly is different from any other professor you have, however, I do think some of the things he says in class are repetitious. The guest speakers can be really interesting though! Your grade is mainly based on your midterm and final
