Great class discussions if you're interested in the way people label and talk about food. An analytical class - as you won't be talking about Chipotle all day. But if you're interested in food ethics and diets and movements definitely take it! Super nice teacher and very little work.

Surprisingly tough grading for a COLA but very interesting class with a good teacher.

I would highly recommend taking a COLA with Prof. Williams, especially Food Talk (if it's offered again). The class is not demanding, whatsoever, she Professor Williams is one of the nicest advisors I could have had! Homework consists of about 20-30 minutes of readings, and they're actually fun food-related articles (lots of blogs), and you just have to discuss them on the class blog. There is a final paper at the end, but you get to pick your own fun topic. Take a COLA with Ashley Williams!
