This far into Chinese everyone realizes that Liang Laoshi is one of the best, if not the very best, Chinese teacher at the University. This class is probably the most difficult Chinese class and fourth year is the most difficult year of Chinese thus far. Emphasis lies in learning formal writing and it is not as easy to learn as you may think.

Liang Laoshi is the best Chinese teacher I have had at UVA. She improves the writing ability of her students and focuses on style. She cares a lot about each of her students.
