Liang's a good teacher and a fair grader. The great thing about taking Chinese class is that you know exactly what you need to get an good grade. You will have to put in the work, which means about an hour a day, but if you like learning Mandarin it should be fine.

Liang Laoshi is just amazing at what she does. Take Chinese with her and you will not regret. She is amazingly nice and understanding. Always makes class fun. Definitely the best class I have taken. As for workload, some say it was a decent amount, I thought it was all really easy though. A few essays, easy workbook exercises, and a final paper/presentation at the end. Don't worry, Liang Laoshi guides you all the way through :D

Liang Lao-Shi is one of the most upbeat Chinese teachers and also one of the nicest. She is extremely understanding. The class is not particularly challenging, there are only three tests and three essays. There are two dictations a week.
