I loved this class, definitely my favorite chem class I've taken! Prof. Pires is such a nice and knowledgeable guy. The class is flipped as the students do most, if not all, of the teaching. Basically, you pick a paper that interests you and make a presentation to teach the class about the topic. All the presentations were group presentations. Everyone went three times. We did a poster session for our final; that was the only individual assignment we did--we talked him out of the original paper he wanted to assign. He is a very lenient grader, just make sure you participate and ask a lot of questions! The class is very low-stress and you'll never be tested on anything you talk about. You can honestly just show up and learn about what's going on in the drug discovery realm. I highly recommend if you are interested in the top at all! #tCFfall22
