I generally enjoyed this lab with Professor Chruma. The TAs are variable in grading and expectations, but Chruma will do a good job of standardizing scores by the end of the course. You will find the first lab (2411) to be significantly more boring than 2421 in the spring, but it is essential content and skills to learn as you enter your spring semester. The labs will typically end on the earlier side (i.e. not last the full 4 hours) and you have flexibility to drop one if you ever need to miss or score poorly on one. My biggest piece of advice is to attend office hours and recitation to complete the postlabs and data & analysis!! Find a buddy if you ever can't attend such one week. They are absolutely crucial to earning full points on these assignments. #tCFS25

Prof. Chruma is THE most engaging, helpful and caring professor I have ever had the privilege of coming across. He clearly articulates his expectations for the laboratory and is very fair. This class is 3 credits so do expect to spend more than a few hours working on your lab reports each week. The concepts within the course are fairly straight forward and Prof. Chruma's lectures are extremely easy to follow. I would strongly recommend this class and cannot praise Prof. Chruma enough.
