This is a really easy lab. The labs aren't necessarily "fun" (it's intro chemistry, come on) but they're easy. The only annoying part is prelab lecture but it's bearable. There is no final/midterm. TA office hours are really helpful if there's something you don't understand on prelabs or reports. The lab reports are really easy since all the math you need to do them is supplied in supplemental documents on Collab.

Seriously, this is probably the easiest lab ever. You don't have to understand anything at all, the lectures give you the math of how to do the report, which isn't due until a week after you actually do the lab. And if that's still too hard for you, there are office hours where the TA will basically guide you through the report. And a checking program to make sure your answers are right. And you don't even have to go to lecture, since they post the powerpoints to collab. The TA is usually really helpful.

Hated this lab terribly. It was dreadful. Learn how to pace yourself because you will be rushed if you're not super quick. If you're a slow worker (like me), take my advice and take it now before you regret it: cut corners. Where ever you can. If you have to do like 9 different titrations, and you're slow, forget about cleaning the glassware or getting perfect pipet amounts. Rinse the crap quickly and say good enough even if you pipet a little less/more than you were supposed to. Oh and Phelps was an awesome TA.

Go to office hours during the first few weeks. I didn't, and it was tough to recover after doing horribly on the first three labs.

Not a fun class, but required if you're pre-health which is why a lot of people take it.

I had an excellent TA, which made the labs tolerable

The class really does depend on how good your TA is.

Easy, but pointless.
