The course is more so specialized for those that are interested in construction engineering and management. Thankfully, the style of the class is more so experiential than lecture based, and the assignments aren't too laborious. While the grading system is a bit tight with such a small number of assignments, the professor is forgiving with the grades and mostly understand that this is an ESTIMATION class, where nothing is truly exact. The class has its difficulties in the projects and quizzes, but outside of these it's a pretty smooth breeze. As for the professor, he isn't like your typical professors in the CE department. With this being o ky a part time gig for him, he only teaches one day a week, making his class flexible. Additionally, he has a lot of experience in the field and therefore k ows a lot of the tips and tricks with bids and contracts. Overall, while he can feel a little dry in lecture, he makes up for that in real world experience!
