Highly recommend this class for civil engineers. This class could be a good technical elective if you hit the prereqs because it does not require much experience in other courses to understand. I thought the material was useful and different from other CE courses. Its a systems engineering course geared towards civil engineering applications so I would recommend all civils to take it as an elective. Professor Alemazkoor is extremely kind and accommodating so this course was never stressful or arduous. Its a simple structure: two exams, occasional homeworks (one every other week or so), and a final project. None of these were very difficult or time consuming to study for or complete.
