A challenging but very useful class. Dr. Hossack is a very good teacher and will give you a good grade. He loves the fields and makes sure you learn the material.
Homework every week which you essentially have to go to office hours to understand/complete but once you get it, you get it. Some code here and there but nothing serious. Two midterms and a final. Lot of the questions are rote memorization which appeared on one slide or another. The first midterm and the final are cobbled together completely, bar one or two new questions, from the homework and past tests (which he posts), maybe even with some numbers changed. Great class, would recommend.
