Prof Allen is a great guy. This class is of course much more relaxed than IDEAS was. No need to attend lectures (I personally skipped them all) and very few in-person requirements. You’ll only need to come in to check with the teaching team about your progress. Advice: contacting grad students is much more reliable than contacting professors if you are looking for advice on your project. Find a grad student in your advisor’s lab to work with primarily.
