(I took this course online.) This class is a survey of (mammalian) homeostasis, built entirely around reading and discussing journal articles. It is split into ~4 units covering appetite, water, sleep, and temperature regulation. We were graded on peer reviews, weekly 1-page learning journals, 1 group project, and one 5-page paper. Grading is very generous. There are 2 papers to read per week, available free online through UVa. Workload for this class is very low. Campbell is a kind and patient professor. He divides class time into one half for a brief lecture and one half for small group discussion. #tCFspring2021
