I took Politics of the Past (Politics of Art) with Professor Dakouri-Hild, and it was a fantastic course! Each week, we had 3-4 articles to read which was kind of a lot some weeks but it was fine to skim, and Professor Dakouri-Hild understood that we all were third or fourth years taking reading and writing intensive classes. Every week we would each write a blog post (300-400 words) about what we found interesting in the readings. This was not difficult at all. We would start each class with us telling the class what we wrote about in the blogs. Then Professor Dakouri-Hild would teach and we would have.a discussion. It was a long class (2 1/2 hours) but completely worth it. The material was extremely fascinating and so relevant. At the end of the semester, we wrote a 20 page essay on a topic of our choice. I would highly recommend this class. One of my favorites this semester!
