This was my first small class here at UVA, with around 12 people in the class. The information being taught was very interesting and the field trips make this class very much worth it. Prof. Turner is incredibly kind and a wonderful lady, always making time for meetings and making sure that your final project (curating your own art museum) is exactly how you want it while telling a meaningful story through the works you pick. And my favorite part, an end of the semester dinner at her local home. This is a student/professor connection that I never imagined to have at such a large university. I can't recommend this course more!

Amazing class with a ton of incredible field trips! It would be a mistake passing up a chance to take a class with Professor Turner. Keep your Fridays free though because you go on some far trips to Maryland/Pennsylvania.
