I would highly recommend this class. While it was a lot of (occasionally dull) reading, Prof. Nelson is extremely knowledgeable and a fantastic lecturer. It was a nice change from the standard architectural history class where we focused more on themes and lessons from different buildings and cities rather than strict memorization of architects and dates. If you are looking for an architectural history class, definitely take one with Prof. Nelson, even if it isn't this one.
