This is a required class for the Architecture major, so I recommend it to anyone going into this major or to anyone with an unusually strong interest in the history of architecture. Also, Camille Behnke is a fantastic TA.

PRofessor Brothers is extremely knowledgeable but fails to deliver her ideas as well as she could. If you are ever bored count how many times she says "Umm" or "Uhhh" in a lecture. With the lights down it is very easy to fall asleep. The class moves at a fast pace, get a good TA and it helps out a lot.

Long lectures, cold classroom. I had Nelson, who was at least upbeat and well organized. Spend your credits on other classes unless this one is required or you are extremely interested in slideshows. Skip the book and don't procrostinate on the paper.

The class is worthwhile and challenging, a critical stepping stone for aspiring first architecture students.

AWFUL class! Instructor and TA's think they know everything and only their opinion is right. The TA's aren't the brightest people in the world either.
