He initially seems really intimidating but is a great can and extremely knowledgeable. It is difficult at first and Rabbaa pushes to you perform well. Now in 1020 I feel more prepared than the majority of my classmates.

He will expect A LOT of you. Super all over the place professor. I'm sure he'd be great for upper level Arabic courses, but as far as a 1010 course, not the way to go. "Arabic is easy" is a phrase you will hear extremely often (even though it isn't). He is understanding, but at many times very frustrating.
