ANTH 3360

I love Professor Handler. He doesn't take attendance and records every lecture. We were supposed to do four assignments this semester, but only ended up with three. One retail store observation, a take home midterm with two short essay questions, an 8-10 page museum review, and a take home final. He ended up giving us the option of either doing the museum review or the final, which shows how understanding and kind he is. He would also offer to meet anyone for coffee outside of class if they needed help with anything. He can ramble in lectures, but I loved hearing his insight. The readings aren't entirely necessary because he explains the important parts in lecture. I found the subject of museums compelling, especially because I have an interest in art history and art. Overall, I would highly recommend a class with Prof. Handler! #tCFfall22
