Do not take this course. Its very boring and you dont really learn much from it that can be applied anywhere. The movies you watch except towards the end are very boring as well. The TA is really nice and will help out however the professor isnt and I regret taking this class. I dont know why anyone would willingly go to this.

If you have even the slightest interest in film, you need to take this class! Professor Chong is extremely approachable and does her best to ensure that each student is keeping up. The work consists of watching about two films per week, about 6-8 short/medium readings (3-4 per film), and reflection responses to the films as well as post-discussion responses. The projects are easy and creatively flexible. Overall, this is a super enjoyable class and isn't too difficult either. I learned a lot and really had a great time! Highly recommend.
