Lisa is really chill honestly, just participate in class and you'll be on her good side Assignments were pretty easy, just a 200 or so response to the reading question/s The final included a reflection essay (5 pages) and a report on an activist journalist (5-8 pages). She grades pretty easily on them. Again, like the other poster said, talking in class is key.

Be prepared to participate and work hard- you will get out what you put in. Lisa is really excited to be teaching what she is teaching, but she gives the students a lot of control in terms of the direction the class goes every day. Talking in class is key. The final exam is pretty tough, but she willingly answers questions on essay prompts ahead of time. Not an easy A, but an interesting and worthwhile one.
