This is a great class! It's what drove me to choose African American Studies as my major, Kenrick Grandison and Marlon Ross make a great team you may take a field trip. The readings are somewhat long but that's typical for an AAS course but they're not overwhelming and are actually very interesting material. Put in effort go to office hours occasioinally and you'll be fine!
